My hometown is Nokesville, Virginia, but I’ve lived in lots of places: Charleston, SC; Annot, FR; Eugene, OR; Montréal, QC; and Toronto, ON. My first career was as a college teacher of rhetoric and critical thinking. When my sons became students at UPark, I got to know and love the school support staff; they inspired me to learn some new skills and make a career change. I love tennis, reading, and snuggling my pet dog, cat, and hamster.
