I’m originally from Des Moines, Iowa, and have called Denver home for 15 years. Outside of school, I enjoy visiting historical buildings and sites, checking out new restaurants and revisiting old favorites, reading, swimming, attending live music and theatre events. I was a disaster relief volunteer with the American Red Cross during college and plan to return to volunteering when I retire from teaching. I love the diverse student body, the supportive staff, and engaged community at U-Park! It’s been a real privilege working with these students, and I have especially loved helping several reluctant students find their voices and gain the courage to take to the stage!
