I was born in the suburbs outside of Chicago, but I’ve lived in Colorado since I was in 3rd grade. I’ve been at UPark for 13 years and teaching in my own classroom for 12 years. I was also fortunate to do my student teaching at UPark (in the same classroom I currently teach in!). Outside of school I love to golf, read, watch football, go shopping, and spend time with my husband and family.I love the community (students, staff, and families) at UPark. Because I have spent my entire career at UPark, it’s truly shaped who I am as an educator. I appreciate that students are excited and always curious to learn. The UPark staff is always willing to jump in and help in any way possible. I also love teaching 5th grade- it’s such a pivotal year before the students go off to middle school.
