Thank you to everyone who came out to support UPark and to have some fun during our fun run and carnival last Sunday. A special thanks goes out to Johan Vandeberg and Kate Luce and all of our parent volunteers for making the event such a fun time for all. Our UPark intermediate band under the direction of Jason Oliny kicked things off with the Star Spangled Banner played UPark's own fifth grade saxophone player Ian Gadri Nicholson. Fifth grader Brandon Trujillo and Ms. Jacobsen both got to pie me in the face as well. Parker flew in for a visit as well saying hello to our Wise Owls. This is always such a fun time for our community to celebrate the end of the school year and to welcome incoming families into the UPark community.
