University Park Elementary School -

Here are a few snaps from 4th and 5th grades' trip to Young Ameritowne last week. For those not yet in the know, Young Ameritowne offers a financial literacy curriculum for 4th and 5th grade students that culminates with a field trip to "Young Ameritowne" where students work and run their own city for a day. It's a major highlight of the year for our upper grades!

Restaurant Days at Taziki's Hampden
On February 10th and 11th from 3-8pm each day, Taziki's Hampden will be donating 20% of associated sales back to our school.

Thanks to everyone who made our first annual Math Night such a success! We loved sharing our math skills with our families.

Multilingual teachers and students shared a thoughtful project they worked on together considering the complexity of their multilingual experiences.

Student Council Spirit Fridays in January

The UPark Student Council organized fun spirit Fridays for the month of January! Participation is optional, but students can dress up each Friday according to the themes listed below.

January 16th: Decades Day: Dress up in your favorite decade outfit
January 23rd: Disney v. Sports: Dress in your favorite Disney or sports attire
January 30th: Future Me Day: Dress up for your future career

From 4-8pm on Wednesday, January 14th, Panera Bread (2466 S Colorado) Blvd) will be donating 20% of sales back to our school. Please show either a printout or digital version of the following flyer, to the cashier:
