Born and raised in Denver, I was a DPS kiddo in my early educational career and have worked in Denver Public Schools for over 15 years. Prior to my work in DPS, I was an early childhood educator. I started in DPS as a Paraprofessional and have been in my role as Office Support since 2015. One of my favorite activities is playing volleyball on a recreational team with some of my best friends. I also love hanging out with my 10 and 7 year old kiddos or spending the day snuggled up with a good book. Some of my favorite books are Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi, The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo and Aaron Slater Illustrator by Andrea Beaty.
I love working at UPark because it is an incredibly collaborative place to work. Our team cares so deeply about our shared goals to facilitate success for ALL of our Owls and this leads to a fantastically positive work environment. I also love the diversity of experiences that are shared in the UPark community and believe that this diversity creates the best environment possible for learning, growing and connecting.
